Welcome to Sleep Medicine Consultants
Our web site is designed to let patients know what to expect from a visit to a sleep specialist, and our office in particular. Our practice is headed by J. Douglas Hudson, MD, who is Board Certified in both Sleep Medicine and Neurology. Edward H. Ortiz, M.D. is also on staff, and Board Certified in Sleep Medicine and Pulmonology. The doctors are assisted with patient care by three midlevel providers: Rhonda Biles, PA-C, Josie Zamora, RN, CNS, and Mary Youngwith, RN, FNP-C.
When you make an appointment, it is to see one of our medical providers for consultation. You are not making an appointment for a sleep study. Sleep studies are ordered only if considered necessary by your provider after your consultation in the office.
Our goal is to help our patients better understand sleep disorders and then discover and execute the best way to improve the quality of their sleep, and therefore of their life.
