Greg Tempest, M.D.

Dr. Tempest is a Diplomat of the American Board of Neurology and board certified in Neurology and Sleep Medicine. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio, where he also completed a residency in Neurology and was a Fellow in Clinical Neurophysiology.

Midlevel Provider

(def) A medical provider who is not a physician but is licensed to diagnose and treat patients under the supervision of a physician.

Each of the following licensed midlevel providers have received hands on training in sleep medicine. Under the supervision of Dr. Hudson, these providers take patient medical histories, perform physical exams, make assessments, and order labs, tests, and write prescriptions as appropriate.

Mary Youngwith, RN, FNP-C

Mary Youngwith, RN, FNP-C

Mary is a Family Nurse Practioner. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and a Masters degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practioner from the University of Texas at Austin. She is nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Mary is an active member in the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Austin Advanced Practice Nurses. Her medical background includes neurology, neurosurgery and women's health which complements her sleep disorders skills.

Karen Blakley, RN, CNS

Karen Blakley, RN, CNS

Karen is a Clinical Nurse Specialist and received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas. She is nationally certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and approved as an Advanced Practice Nurse by the Texas Board of Nursing.  She is an active member of the American Nurses Association and the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists.  Prior to her career in nursing, Karen received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Texas A&M and a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan. She has previous medical experience in genetics and cardiovascular disease.

Lee Myers, RN, FNP-C

Lee Myers, RN, FNP-C

Lee is a Family Nurse Practitioner who received his initial medical training as a U.S. Army medic. He then obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso and returned to military service as an Army Nurse Corps officer and critical care nurse until entering graduate school at The University of Texas at Austin. He has a Master of Science in Nursing and is nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and has practiced in the field of sleep medicine.
